Once again, I was browsing my Pinterest for low carb recipes, and these Amazing Low Carb Brownies caught my eye. I clicked through the link and promptly started drooling.
The recipe as it stands has a lot of net carbs because it calls for applesauce, but reading through the comments the author Kelly says you can substitute oil in its place to lower the carb count. If you’re on induction (like me) I’d suggest doing this as we’re meant to stay away from all fruits at this stage.
The sweetener of choice in this recipe is xylitol, which caramelises better than Splenda and costs £2.69 for 225g (Sainsbury’s and Tesco).
